As the linchpin of the UK Compliance Team, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of shaping and executing a robust compliance strategy in alignment with the business's objectives and the Executive Director - Operations' vision. Responsibilities:
- Inspire and cultivate the UK Compliance Team's growth and development
- Craft and implement the Compliance strategy in collaboration with senior management
- Represent the company's compliance interests with external bodies
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes, ensuring the business is well-informed and prepared
- Proactively share market insights to facilitate timely business responses to change
- Spearhead the Risk Committee, maintaining an up-to-date risk matrix
- Contribute as an active member of the Operational Committee (OPCO)
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Executive Committee (EXCO) and Board

Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in compliance within the UK insurance industry
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of team development
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex regulations
- Strategic thinker with an analytical approach to trend analysis and risk management
- Experience in liaising with regulatory bodies and compliance advisors
