Description

An opportunity to become a Senior Broker Development Manager in this high profile role with a major global insurer. This role moves away from the transactional grind of broker visits, for broker visits sake; instead working with stakeholders at a senior level on high value, strategic and tactical partnerships.

Your role will be to manage and look after a set of key broker portfolios (worth c£30m GWP, and growing) within the London market. This will includes global brokers as well as a number of specialist and niche firms. There's an attractive package available to the right person, including a bonus amongst the best in the market.

The Role

  • You'll work at portfolio management level with your brokers, challenging their thinking and influencing their broking and growth strategies around schemes, roll-overs and deals - these will range in size from £250k to £5m+ GWP
  • The team is thriving; you'll have the momentum and as much as you could wish for in the form of infrastructure, MI, data and support in regard to underwriting, bespoke product design and broker service
  • The role has real visibility internally and is high profile within the market - it's an opportunity to kick on in your career

You


You will be either be:-

  • An exceptional and experienced Business Development professional, looking to progress your career with a major insurer, to look after a significant looking for the next step in your career, this role could be a good fit for you
  • An individual that aspires to be a strategic Business Development professional, working in a Sales focused role currently as a Business Development Assistant or Sales Support within an insurer, or a Schemes development style role within an insurer, MGA or Broker

You'll enjoy the challenge, complexities and rewards associated with managing large portfolios; you'll see yourself as a senior relationship builder able to operate at the highest level.
Naturally you'll be driven and ambitious and looking to join a team with a similar profile where your creativity and flair will be utilised and rewarded.
