Inheriting c£200k commercial income (c50% scheme driven, c50% open market) from a retiring colleague, this role provides an ambitious Account Executive the opportunity to join a UK insurance market leader, with the added 'comfort-factor' of a solid book of business to grow with.
You'll join one of the top teams in the East Midlands market...
As Account Executive, you will:
- Inherit a stable book from day one, around half of which is a specialist liability lead scheme/binder business, with the rest made up of cross class commercial insurance clients (average premiums c£50k, some much larger)
- Take responsibility for managing and retaining the book, whilst being rewarded for hitting a modest growth target
- Have all the tools of the trade - car, laptop, mobile - plus the support you'd expect from a national broking group
- Have the ability to develop in this significant, yet growing team - the regions management have all been promoted from within
- Enjoy the autonomy and flexibility given and the trust placed in you to deliver
You:
- An established Commercial Account Executive seeking the next step - you'll back yourself to realise the rewards available within a business of this size and stature
- You'll enjoy strategic account management of larger accounts and be confident in forging relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- You'll be commutable to the Midlands office and therefore based in Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Lincoln, Derby, Nottingham, Peterborough, Warwick, etc. - office attendance is flexible, and you'll be required to attend for team meetings and such like
