As a Property and Casualty Underwriter, you'll be looking to progress your career with a big name in the insurance market. Working in a business with a strong trading platform and appetite for growth.
Based in the team in Manchester, you'll own the relationship with Brokers from an underwriting perspective. You'll have the scope to raise your own profile as well as the freedom to make a real impact.
Looking for both:
- New Business Property and Casualty Underwriters
- Existing Business Property and Casualty Underwriters
As a P&C Underwriter you will:
- Join a respected name in the insurance world and help the team
- Manage key Broker accounts from independents to large nationals, focusing on new business or joining the existing business team to take on existing key accounts
- Be empowered in underwriting and commercial terms - plenty of appetite and a "will find a way"
You will:
- Be experienced in writing new business or existing business across suitable classes of business i.e. P&C combined, property owners (commercial and residential), standalone liability and property
- Experienced in writing SME to mid-market level premiums
- Benefit from excellent support provided by senior colleagues
