As a Commercial Underwriter you will be required for underwriting and servicing various commercial risks for both new and existing business whilst delivering excellent technical support.
As Commercial Underwriter, you will:
- Be able to handle queries from customers, brokers and colleagues in a timely and efficient manner whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
- Support with the retention of an existing portfolio, ensuring a smooth and efficient process with a clear focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the completion of day-to-day administration including the processing of renewals, new business, mid-term adjustments and cancellations.
- Work alongside the companies dedicated Regional Accounts Team to offer support.
- Able to identify clients with multiple risks which may require insurer referral and is aware of the referral process.
- Underwrite new and existing business within own authority and in accordance with the company's underwriting strategy and guide
