Joining the specialist broking & placement division of this national insurance firm, you'll focus on niche and specialty business... empowering the branch network by securing the right products, services, terms and rates to win and retain clients.

You'll rise to the challenge of placing the more technical and complex cases, whether that be high-risk liability, specialist property, financial lines or more specialist covers... this is a chance to move into that technical, market facing role that will test your knowledge and allow you to demonstrate your skills.

As Broking & Placement Executive, you will:

• Be a key member of an expanding broking and placement function - this is a senior role which sits above the Account Handling team, and is focused on market liaison with insurers and Lloyds markets to secure the right proposition for clients.
• Take responsibility for sourcing and placing complex cases; this will encompass high-risk liability, specialist property, financial lines and a range of specialty lines. The business (and its clients) will depend on your delivering for them.
• See the opportunity to raise your market profile - you'll spend your time negotiating and building relationships with insurers, underwriting agencies, MGA's and syndicates locally, in London and on a national basis.
• Contribute to the development of the broking and placement strategy, involved in complex projects and always looking for ways to improve the general proposition on offer of the team, the wider business, and ultimately the firms clients.
• Enjoy thinking for yourself, and bringing your skills, experience and creativity to a role where you can really contribute and see your efforts rewarded.
• Be home based, visiting the office in Warwickshire 1 day per week and rewarded with a base salary of up to c£55,000 as well as bonus and package.
