Commercial Insurance Handler with some Client facing responsibility (Full or part-time considered)

The Company:

Working with an established insurance broker who is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Handler to deal with commercial combined business, based in their Nottinghamshire office.

The Role:

• Due to a forthcoming retirement, our Client is looking for a Commercial Insurance Handler to join their team
• To be responsible for all technical broking for commercial insurance business to include Commercial Combined, Commercial Property, Combined Liability, PI, Cyber and D&O
• Working closely with the Account Directors and Account Executives you will assist with renewals, adjustments and new business presentations and market placement strategy
• Where necessary and within the scope of your role you will have the opportunity to visit Clients on your own
• You will also be attending Client meetings with the Account Director

Skills Required:

• Experience of Commercial Insurance
• Technical Broking or Commercial Account Handling or Underwriting
• Able to communicate effectively, both written, numerically and verbally with clients, work contacts and colleagues
• Enjoys working in a team and possesses excellent organisational skills
• To comply with internal and regulatory requirements
• ACII desirable but not essential
