Liability Underwriter

We have a fantastic opportunity that would suit either an experienced Underwriter or someone with an established insurance or broking background to join an expanding team as a Liability Underwriter. Ideal candidates will have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of Liability insurance. In this role you will be negotiating terms, securing renewals, and processing MTA adjustments, alongside providing an exceptional service to broker partners. You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk analysis, the ability to analyse data, and make informed decisions.

By effectively managing risk, as an Underwriter you will play a crucial role in contributing to the growth and retention strategy targets of the business.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Underwriting principles and practice.
• Good risk analysis and technical skills.
• A Trading Mindset and Commercial Awareness.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
