Description

As Group Broking Director you’ll take charge of high-level placement strategy, broking and market management for this expanding, acquisitive, PE-backed insurance group.


This is a newly created role, based on growth, and presents an opportunity at senior leadership level for a driven professional to develop their insurance career.


 


As Group Broking Director you will:


 



  • Be rewarded with a rewarded with a remuneration package of between £150,000 - £200,000 including a negotiable base salary.

  • Hold a place on the Executive Leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions.

  • Take responsibility for re-shaping the placement strategy for this insurance group which controls several hundred million pounds in GWP.

  • Drive additional income from key insurers in return for enhanced arrangements, and reducing insurer markets where appropriate to increase value elsewhere.

  • Be the face of the business to the insurer market, upholding the professional integrity of the business whilst positioning the creation of value

  • Drive support through all internal stakeholders to create buy-in for new market and insurer strategies.


 


You:


 



  • You’ll be an ambitious broking, placement and insurer relations professional ready to step into a Group Broking Director role, with the challenges and rewards that brings.

  • You’ll have an ability to work strategically on complex insurer deals, and to communicate them for internal stakeholders to achieve maximum results.

  • You won’t just be comfortable in this type of commercial environment, you’ll relish the challenge of negotiating deals, establishing and managing SLA’S and managing relations with the insurer market.
