Role - Corporate Account Handler
Salary - Up to £45,000
Location - Leeds



We are seeking a Corporate Account Handler to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and broking, with specialised knowledge in General Commercial, Motor Fleet, and Haulage as well as Property lines of business. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our clients' insurance needs.

Responsibilities


  • Manage a portfolio of corporate insurance accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
  • Analyse client's insurance requirements and recommend suitable coverage options
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers to ensure the best possible coverage and premiums
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide proactive solutions to clients
  • Process policy documentation, endorsements, and other client-related paperwork with accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications


  • Prior experience in account handling or broking within the insurance industry is essential
  • Strong understanding of General Commercial, Motor Fleet, and Haulage, as well as Property lines of business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a client-focused approach

Day-to-Day


  • Communicating with clients to understand their insurance needs
  • Liaising with underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
  • Conducting market research to stay abreast of industry developments
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
  • Managing the administrative aspects of client accounts with attention to detail and accuracy
