The Role

As a Commercial Account Handler you will be :-


  • Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, as their key adviser – by telephone or email
  • Work with the Client Executive to deal with any complex queries, working closely to ensure a joined up approach to client liaison
  • Managing Commercial insurance queries across Property, Casualty, Commercial Combined and Motor Fleet, along with some ancillary covers.  Expertise of all these is not a requirement as training will be provided.
  • Managing Commercial insurance clients paying premiums between £5k and £250k – with the more complex clients provided to an individual with wider experience.

Requirements


  • This is an office-based role, in a central Manchester location
  • As an experienced Commercial Account Handler, you must have a minimum of 3 years core UK Commercial product knowledge in at least Commercial Combined.  The more complex and wider experience you have, the more complex clients you will manage
  • Your background can be Commercial Underwriting or from a broker.
