We are working with a national insurance broker who are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team in Billericay. The role involves providing day-to-day support for a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance arrangements are managed accurately and efficiently.
The Role
- Handle day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and Account Executives to resolve queries.
- Support Account Executives with renewal reports and meeting preparation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through reliable service.
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role.
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and administration skills.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with clients and insurers.
- Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Cert CII or working towards (desirable).
