Description

We're delighted to be working with a highly respected, independent insurance broker who are looking to appoint an experienced File Auditor to join their growing business.

This is a key role within the organisation, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality across all client files and internal processes. The position offers excellent flexibility, a strong team culture, and the chance to make a real impact in a successful and expanding brokerage.

 

The Role:

As a File Auditor, you'll be responsible for conducting detailed reviews of client files and documentation across the business, ensuring adherence to FCA regulations, internal procedures, and best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Auditing client files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Reviewing policy documentation, correspondence, and system entries
  • Identifying errors, omissions, or process gaps and providing feedback to relevant teams
  • Supporting management with MI reporting and compliance summaries
  • Helping to develop and refine quality assurance processes
  • Assisting with staff training and guidance to promote consistent standards
  • Liaising with Account Handlers, Executives, and Compliance to ensure improvements are implemented

 

About You:


  • Previous experience in a file auditing, compliance, or quality assurance role within insurance (broker or insurer side)
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations, TCF, and insurance best practice
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator able to provide constructive feedback to colleagues
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Good working knowledge of Acturis or similar broking platforms (desirable)
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards (preferred)
