We're delighted to be working with a respected and fast-growing independent insurance broker who are looking to appoint a Branch Manager to lead their established regional office.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering the chance to make a real impact - ensuring the smooth running of the branch, supporting a dedicated team, and maintaining the high service standards the firm is known for.
It's also an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Handler or Team Leader who's ready to take the next step into management.
The Role:
As Branch Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring clients receive an exceptional service experience and the team operates efficiently and compliantly. You'll provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to the team while maintaining your own client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth daily operations of the branch
- Provide leadership, motivation, and support to the team
- Ensure client servicing and documentation meet company and regulatory standards
- Act as an escalation point for more complex client queries
- Maintain strong relationships with insurer partners and key clients
- Support internal processes, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development and growth of the branch
About You:
- Background in commercial insurance broking, ideally with leadership or senior handling experience
- Strong technical understanding across core commercial lines
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confident managing people, processes, and client relationships
- Commercially minded and proactive in maintaining service standards
- Cert CII qualified or working towards
