Wording Specialist - Insurance


Are you a detail-driven insurance professional with a passion for policy wording, precision, and product development?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative MGA platform where your technical expertise will directly shape underwriting excellence and customer outcomes.

As a Wording Specialist operating within the London Market, you'll take ownership of the drafting, development, and governance of all insurance documentation across a diverse portfolio of products. You'll collaborate with senior underwriters, compliance, claims, and product development teams-ensuring wordings are accurate, compliant, and market-leading.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the drafting, review, and approval of policy wordings, certificates, IPIDs, proposal forms, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Act as the go-to technical authority for insurance documentation, supporting underwriters and claims teams across multiple product lines.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and market best practice.
  • Maintain a centralised wording library and ensure continuous improvement in language, clarity, and customer readability.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support the launch of new and enhanced product offerings.
  • Monitor and interpret legal, regulatory, and market developments impacting policy documentation.
