We are partnering with a well-established insurance business seeking to strengthen its wholesale function. The Leeds based team has strong relationships with broker partners and insurers and now requires an experienced Placement Broker to add further depth.

This is a genuine broking role within the insurance market. You will support partner brokers with the marketing and placement of medium to large commercial risks across multiple sectors, negotiating terms and structuring solutions that work commercially and technically.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively market and place risks across a panel of insurers
• Build and develop relationships with broker partners
• Trade effectively with insurers across a broad range of commercial classes
• Place SME, Commercial and Mid Corporate risks
• Support colleagues on complex or unusual cases
  
  

About you

• Strong commercial insurance broking background
• Experience placing medium to large risks in the open market
• Confident negotiator with insurers and stakeholders
• Acturis or similar system knowledge
• Clear, professional communication skills
