Description

We are looking for several Structural Engineers across the UK who are experienced in building defects diagnostics.

You will conduct Structural Surveyors for both Residential and Commercial Properties, within a 50 mile radius of your home address. 

 

The role:


  • Inspection of all types of buildings and structures and the preparation of digital reports, live on site.
  • Preparation of specifications for remedial works.
  • Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, storm damage and impact.
  • You will also conduct surveyors on behalf of mortgage providers, local housing authorities and councils.
  • You will benefit from an office based team, to support you with diary management and handle client enquiries. 
  • Digital technology is at the heart of all they do, which provides a high quality, highly efficient service to client.

To be considered:


  • You will be experienced by qualifications such as, Chartered Structural Engineer MIStructE or MICE or you will be qualified by way of vast experience and knowledge within inspection and reporting on structural defects.
  • In addition, you will have knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction, historic building knowledge is desired but not essential.


  • You will be proficient in Microsoft, with the ability to learn in-house systems and utilise the advanced technology on tablets to ensure you remain paperless.

These roles are full time, 37.5hrs per week, however we can also consider those who are looking for a part time role at 3 days per week.
