We are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in structural design to join a growing dynamic business in its North West office. Reporting to the Associate Director, this role will be instrumental in the growth of the company and Design Team.

You will be responsible for delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage. In addition, you will complete site visits for residential and commercial building projects, perhaps 2 to 3 times per week in the North West region. You will play a pivotal role in delivering small to medium design projects, with administrative support, as well as technical guidance from senior colleagues. As you will report to the AD, you will provide progress reports as and when required.  

To be considered, you will be passionate about digital technology and the benefits it brings to the profession.You will be proficient in Microsoft,Autocad, Revit and have the ability to learn in-house structural design software. In addition, you will hold relevant qualifications such as a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will have 2+ years post graduate design experience, with a general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber. It would also be an advantage if you have knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction, historic building knowledge is desired but not essential.

In return, you will receive a market leading salary up to £60,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package to include but not limited to, pension 5% employee/ 5% employer, performance related bonus, electric car scheme (salary sacrifice) 25 days holiday, plus your birthday. The role is full time, 37.5hrs per week.
