£65K, car allowance + comprehensive benefits packageAre you an experienced and client-focused Claims Executive with a passion for delivering exceptional service within the traditional broking sector? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
A leading independent insurance brokerage, with a long-standing presence across the UK and Europe, is seeking an experienced Claims Executive to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality support to clients, managing the claims process, and liaising between insurers and clients to ensure timely resolutions.
The Role:
- You will manage a small caseload of complex and contentious claims, from investigation to settlement.
- Apply extensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and claims procedures to assess and adjudicate claims within established timelines and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claims resolution.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, legal representatives, and industry partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on claims history and data.
- Visit clients on site during losses to investigate circumstances and build robust claims for swift, favourable resolutions.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure the best settlement terms under policy conditions.
- Advocate for the claims function and ensure optimal settlements.
The required skills:
- You will be an experienced Claims Handler or Claims Executive within a broker.
- You must have experience of being client facing, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types and claims procedures.
- Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a full U.K driving license.
