An opportunity to work for one of the largest and most well known Insurance Broking Networks at their offices in Milton Keynes.
As a Commercial Insurance Placement Broker, you will play a vital role in supporting our broker partners with advising and placing their risks with the most appropriate markets.
This position requires an understanding of insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both Internal and External customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with network members.
- Work with the team to ensure customers receive a first class service
- Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries and provide accurate and considered advice.
- Placement
- Have a good understanding of the Insurer markets and their individual underwriting appetite.
- Be confident in your ability fully understand a risk and be able to explain that fully to an Underwriter.
- Have an ability to fully detail a new business quote to a broker explaining the important points to consider
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and policy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum two years experience in a commercial insurance environment
- Knowledge of cross class insurance products and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
