We are working with a highly successful and innovative Insurance Broker based in the South West who have grown significantly in recent years and are now looking to support their service team.
As an Account Handler you will:
- Look after the varied insurance programmes for many of our key clients and customers with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Work in partnership with our dedicated sales team to provide quick and efficient support to them in readiness for client meetings, client renewals, new business opportunities and general day to day servicing
- Get to know many of our clients and better understand their insurance needs and discuss additional covers or personal referrals
- Work closely with the wider insurance market and our various partner insurers to ensure that instructions are sent and actioned appropriately
- Be part of a highly successful and innovative Insurance Broker where we celebrate success and work together to deliver a market leading service and proposition to customers
As an Account Handler you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years Commercial Account Handling experience within an Insurance Broker or similar Underwriting experience within an Insurance Company
- A good working knowledge of Business Combined products including Motor Fleet
- Strong IT skills around Microsoft Office - Acturis would be an advantage
- An ability to work as part of a wider team and support your colleagues at busy periods of the year as well as working as an individual
- An understanding of the wider insurance market and how it operates
- The ability to prioritise your work load to ensure that the business is working within agreed service standards and our customer remain the priority
