We are recruiting on behalf of a national insurance broker who are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their Manchester office. This role is focused on providing consistent and reliable support to clients and Account Executives, ensuring that commercial insurance needs are managed accurately and efficiently.
The Role
- Handle day-to-day administration for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Prepare documentation including renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy schedules.
- Liaise with clients, insurers and internal teams to resolve queries.
- Support Account Executives with client meetings and renewal preparation.
- Ensure all client records and files are kept accurate and compliant with FCA requirements.
- Maintain long-term client relationships through professional and consistent service.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role.
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance products across a range of sectors.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships.
- Organised and able to manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Cert CII or working towards (desirable but not essential).
