We are working with a national insurance broker who are seeking a Senior Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial clients from their Orpington office. This role combines client management, administration, and some support for Account Executives on more complex cases.

The Role

• Take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as their main point of contact.
• Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client documentation efficiently.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and colleagues to resolve queries and maintain smooth processes.
• Support Account Executives on larger or more complex accounts where needed.
• Ensure all records are accurate and compliant with FCA regulations.
• Help maintain and improve client service standards within the team.

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a Senior Account Handler or experienced Account Handler in commercial insurance broking.
• Solid knowledge of commercial insurance products and broking procedures.
• Comfortable managing a varied client portfolio with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Cert CII or working towards (desirable).
