Description

We are working with an established insurance broker based in Leicestershire who is looking for a Commercial Claims Manager to look after claims on behalf of their Clients.  The job role is to ensure that insurance claims are handled efficiently and effectively, providing advice to clients regarding the process involved.

 The Role:


  • You will be the first point of contact for clients making a claim, ensuring all the necessary information is collated and fully and properly notified to the appropriate insurer.
  • Responsible for guiding clients through the claims process and issuing timely updates on the progress until payment or conclusion
  • As a Commercial Claims Manager you will communicate with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and various other parties involved in the process, by telephone, email and by written communication
  • You will utilise a computerised office system to follow up on any outstanding issues, such as reports and third party details if required
  • Ensuring the client is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service, adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company. Accordance with industry and company guidelines
  • Respond to enquiries from client, third part brokers and underwriters received by telephone, letter or email in a courteous and helpful manner and ensure that all information required by client or underwriter is obtained and communicated and directed to the appropriate department
  • Assisting with general administration when required.

 

 

The Required Skills:


  • Previous experience within insurance is essential.
  • Applications will be considered from candidates who have commercial claims experience or household claims experience or a commercial account handler.
  • Candidates from an Insurance Company or Insurance Broker background will be considered for this Commercial Claims Manager role.
  • Strong IT, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and individually
