Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid Working Available

We're working with a well-established and growing independent insurance broker who are looking to recruit an experienced Account Handler & Renewals Manager to play a key role in managing and overseeing their commercial renewals function.

This position combines hands-on account handling with responsibility for driving renewal performance, service standards, and team output, making it ideal for an experienced handler or team leader looking to step into a broader role.



The Role:


As Account Handler & Renewals Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial clients while also taking responsibility for the coordination and performance of the renewals process across the team. You'll ensure renewals are handled efficiently, accurately, and to the highest service standard.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Managing renewals and day-to-day servicing for a portfolio of commercial clients


  • Overseeing the renewal workflow to ensure timely and effective delivery


  • Supporting and guiding account handlers during the renewal process


  • Liaising with insurers to secure competitive renewal terms


  • Reviewing renewal performance and identifying improvement opportunities


  • Acting as a point of reference for more complex renewal cases


  • Ensuring all activity aligns with internal processes and regulatory standards




About You:




  • Strong experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broker


  • Proven track record managing renewals and renewal cycles


  • Good technical knowledge across commercial insurance products


  • Confident prioritising workload and supporting others


  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


  • Organised, detail-focused, and process-driven


  • Cert CII qualified or working towards


  • Acturis or similar broking system experience preferred
