We're working with a well-established independent insurance broker in Coventry who are looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to join their busy commercial team.

The Role:

As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME clients, handling renewals, day-to-day queries, and liaising with insurers to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client servicing

• 
  

  Preparing and issuing policy documentation and renewal information

• 
  

  Liaising with insurers to secure competitive cover

• 
  

  Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

• 
  

  Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and servicing

• 
  

  Ensuring all work complies with FCA and internal standards

About You:

• 
  

  Experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally SME-focused

• 
  

  Good technical knowledge of property, liability, combined, and fleet insurance

• 
  

  Excellent communication and organisational skills

• 
  

  Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented

• 
  

  Cert CII qualified or working towards (support provided)

• 
  

  Experience with Acturis or similar broking systems desirable
