- Description
This MOJ Fee Earner opportunity is built for someone who understands the rhythm of low value personal injury work but still cares about doing it properly. You'll be joining a well-established, specialist team operating at the intersection of legal services and the wider insurance market, where consistency, judgement and ownership actually matter.
This isn't about churning files. It's about running a clean caseload, making confident decisions, and working in an environment where your experience in insurance-linked claims is recognised and trusted.
You'll handle your own portfolio of MOJ cases from start to settlement, with the support of a structured team that knows the space inside out. The work is stable, the process is clear, and the expectations are realistic.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of MOJ Portal RTA claims from inception through to settlement
- Reviewing liability, quantum and evidence with a commercial, insurance-aware mindset
- Handling Stage 1, 2 and 3 processes confidently and accurately
- Communicating with clients, insurers and third parties in a clear, professional manner
- Identifying cases that fall out of the portal and progressing them appropriately
- Maintaining file quality and compliance in line with regulatory and insurance standards
What they're looking for:
- Proven experience as an MOJ Fee Earner or in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of the MOJ Portal and low value RTA claims
- Comfortable managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- A practical understanding of how legal work aligns with the insurance lifecycle
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- A steady, reliable approach rather than a volume-first mindset
What's on offer:
- Salary between £27,000 and £30,000 depending on experience
- A stable caseload with consistent workflow
- Supportive team environment with experienced leadership
- Clear processes that allow you to focus on doing the job well
- Long-term opportunity within a business closely aligned to the insurance sector
- Realistic expectations around volume and performance
This MOJ Fee Earner role suits someone who values consistency, knows the detail of MOJ work, and wants to operate in a professional environment tied closely to the insurance market without the chaos that often comes with it.
