Description

A major player in the UK insurance market is seeking a Branch Director to lead a significant, high-profile branch in the NorthWest, with oversight of a portfolio of mid-market and commercial clients.  This could be for an Account Executive who wishes to step up, or an existing Branch Director who would welcome a new and positive environment.

 

It's a great launch pad - the team in place is exceptionally experienced and the client book is loyal; you'll now have the autonomy, investment and backing to really kick things on.

 

The Branch Director role forms part of the Senior Leadership team in the North, with a remit to grow the business,  offering real autonomy to shape and drive the new business activity.

 

You’ll oversee all aspects of performance across sales, service, and operations—while maintaining your own portfolio of clients. It's an opportunity to lead from the front and build a high-performing team within a fast-growing, forward-thinking business.

 

Key Responsibilities – Branch Director:


  • Full accountability for the branch’s financial and operational performance
  • Lead and manage sales and client service teams, and managing the leaders of the operational side.
  • Retain and develop a portfolio of key client relationships
  • Recruit, coach and develop team members to deliver growth and high service standards
  • Align local strategy with wider group goals, contributing to regional and national initiatives
  • Visibility is key, ensuring you can commit to being around the team and driving positive results.

 

You 


  • A leader, perhaps already operating at this level, or in a senior sales, account executive or operational role and with the confidence in your ability to step up and take the step up
  • Of course you'll be a driven, ambitious individual; but you'll need the nous, commerciality and talent to take on one of the biggest Branch Director jobs in the region's commercial broking market.
  • The successful applicant with based in the North West, north of Manchester.
