As the Underwriting Manager: 

• You'll play a key role in underwriting complex Commercial Combined risks within appetite and authority. 

• You'll work closely with your team, helping to lead, coach and develop their underwriting skills 

• You'll contribute to building and managing broker relationships across the region, focusing on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement 

• You'll be acting as a technical referral point and supporting portfolio performance 

The successful Underwriting Manager candidate will have: 

• Experience in Commercial Combined, Property & Casualty or Mid-Market underwriting  

• Skills in leading, coaching and developing colleagues 

• Proven broker relationship and trading experience. 

• A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas 

• An organised, thoughtful way of working 

• A commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues 

The Underwriting Manager will get:

• Annual salary £75,000 for the right candidate

• Excellent Performance related bonus. 

• 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell annual leave
