As a business development specialist, you will contribute to business growth in key specialist markets and within the wider corporate space nationally and regionally.
As Senior Telemarketer, you will...
Manage and develop a pipeline of commercial sales opportunities throughout the UK to support the companies targeted growth plans both within the corporate sales market and designated specialist areas
Work closely with field sales colleagues, marketing specialists and company management in winning significant new business within major single site, key and national accounts in line with company strategy.

The Role
- Gain an understanding of the requirements of our clients and potential clients and present qualified and accurate information to regional, national and specialist sales teams throughout the business
- Generate sales meetings to develop our strategic approach to winning and retaining business
- Effective management and growth of CRM system and associated administration
- Driving development strategy and approach to market in key specialist practices
- Be heavily involved relationships with sector specific Trade Associations and professional bodies
- Contributing to presentation materials and the presentation team
- Co-ordinating all interested parties including managing and refining content from all stakeholders
- Developing and contributing to a best practice library of content - improving the efficiency of information sharing across the team, to develop the best documents
- Attending internal account development meetings - qualifying prospects and providing constructive challenge
You
- Previous experience within the financial services sector or other commercial business sectors in business development, direct marketing or internal sales
- Whilst not essential, exposure to the commercial insurance market would be of interest
- Keen to work as part of a team but have the self-discipline to work on own initiative
- Good organisational skills - ability to work to deadlines on multiple projects
- A proactive and can-do approach with drive and commercial ability
- Target orientated with experience of delivering in a sales environment
- Ability to think creatively, designing and delivering marketing campaigns and approach to market
