Description

Step into a pivotal role within a dynamic team, driving the continued expansion of a commercial insurance portfolio.  A newly developed position, it offers the chance to fully harness your established underwriting expertise and directly contribute to the success of a growing book of business.   As a seasoned Commercial Insurance Underwriter, your proficiency will be the cornerstone of maintaining and enhancing the quality and profitability of the portfolio.


Your role will be instrumental in assessing risks, determining pricing, and crafting insurance solutions that meet the specialist needs of the clientele, for premiums ranging from SME through to commercial.


The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, with 3 to 5 years of commercial underwriting knowledge.   


A keen analytical mind and exceptional judgement are paramount, as is the ability to navigate risk assessments with precision and pace.    Your expertise will be supported by strong negotiation skills and the capacity to build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.
