With ambitious plans to build on this success, the business is seeking a commercially minded, new business-focused Property Underwriter who can help drive further growth, develop strong broker relationships and contribute to the continued success of its UK operations.

As a Property Underwriter you will be:

Working as part of an experienced underwriting team, you'll take responsibility for identifying, developing and securing profitable new business opportunities across a diverse portfolio of commercial property risks.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Underwriting new business Property risks, balancing technical risk assessment with commercial decision-making.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with an established panel of brokers, identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio.
• Proactively generating new business through broker engagement, pipeline management and market development.
• Negotiating terms, pricing and coverage to deliver competitive solutions while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Working closely with colleagues across underwriting, distribution and other specialist teams to maximise opportunities.
• Contributing to the wider underwriting strategy and supporting the continued profitable growth of the Property portfolio.

As a Property Underwriter:

We're looking for an property underwriter who enjoys the commercial side of the role and has the confidence and technical ability to develop new business in a competitive market.

You will have:

• Strong experience ofunderwriting large and complex commercial Property risks within the UK insurance market.
• A proven ability to develop broker relationships and convert new business opportunities.
• Strong technical underwriting skills, with a sound understanding of risk selection, pricing and portfolio profitability.
• A proactive, commercially driven approach and the confidence to negotiate with brokers.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and ambitious team.
