Description

Setting, implementing and delivering upon the scheme strategy for this dynamic insurance broking business, this is a real opportunity to make an impact.


Already successful, and with a strong market reputation, the business has received significant recent investment; they are ready to kick on to the next level and this role contributes to the plan.


As Head of Schemes you'll have the tools, tech., infrastructure, support and autonomy to develop the existing team and portfolio - as well as using your own ideas, creativity and market connections to identify opportunities to expand it.


You'll be used to working at senior management level, taking ownership for delivery across the scheme piece; product creation, insurer negotiation to attract and retain DUA capacity, sales and distribution through retain and wholesale channels as well as ongoing performance management.

You



  • A driven insurance professional with knowledge of the specialist schemes area and a clear view of the opportunities available in this space.

  • You'll be a leader, and able to articulate and implement a clear vision for developing the scheme business unit to your management peers, and to the expanding team that you'll recruit.

  • You'll be confident in management all aspects of the scheme book and have the gravitas to hold key relationships with the market.

  • Comfortable in a national role and able to spend time during the working week in one of the firms offices, based in London, The Midlands or The North West.
