Description

We're working on behalf of a respected London-based insurance broker with a strong reputation in the real estate sector. Known for their specialist knowledge and commitment to service excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their growing Real Estate team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-quality portfolio of property clients - including investors, developers, managing agents, and landlords - within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Role:

You'll support Account Executives and clients directly, managing the day-to-day servicing of commercial property risks and ensuring all client needs are met with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and queries for a real estate client base
  • Preparing and issuing insurance documentation
  • Liaising with underwriters to secure competitive terms
  • Supporting Account Executives with new business and tenders
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
  • Delivering a high standard of client service and communication

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in commercial account handling, ideally with a focus on property/real estate risks
  • Knowledge of key products including property owners, liability, D&O, and engineering covers
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Familiarity with Acturis (desirable)
  • Cert CII qualification or working towards (preferred)

What's on Offer:

  • Annual bonus and full benefits package including private medical and pension
  • Salary up to £45,000
  • Hybrid working model - 3 days in the London office
  • Structured career development with support for professional qualifications
  • A friendly, specialist team environment with a strong client service ethos
  • Access to a high-quality real estate book and the opportunity to develop sector expertise

This is a brilliant opportunity to further your career in a specialist role with one of London's most respected independent brokers. If you have a passion for property insurance and delivering service excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.
