Description

A real progression opportunity for an ambitious Account Handler, joining a growing independent brokerage that's building something different...

This is a chance to be part of something special at the very start of the journey, joining a young business with serious goals - plus the infrastructure and senior team in place to achieve them.

Do you want to work in a progressive environment where you'll be empowered to succeed?

Career Growth & Support

  • This is a business where people are given the support and coaching to grow.
  • You'll have a clear progression plan, regular check-ins and practical development through formal training and day-to-day mentoring.
  • Whether you want to move into more senior handling, client management, or team leadership down the line, your path will be shaped around your goals.

About the Account Handler Role

  • You'll take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients and those in various specialist sectors and professions - supporting them with renewals, MTA's, day-to-day servicing, queries and cover reviews.
  • You'll deal directly with insurers and clients, providing clear, efficient service that helps build trust and long-term relationships.
  • You'll work on new business enquiries either independently or alongside the Account Executive team.
  • This is a broad, varied role with lots to get involved in.
  • You'll also be part of a team that's shaping the way things are done.

What You'll Need

  • 2-5+ years' experience in a commercial insurance role.
  • Knowledge of key insurance lines and client needs.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence working directly with clients and insurers.
  • A mindset geared toward learning, development, and improvement.
  • Cert CII is useful but not essential as full support is available.

Salary & Benefits

  • £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • Flexible working, with time spent in the office to build co-operation and collaboration.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Ongoing training, development, and support.
  • Career progression built into your role from the start.
