What is the role?
- As part of our client's ongoing success, we are now looking to recruit an exceptional Senior MI and Data Analyst / Project Manager to join our team in the South East.
- You will be responsible for producing and presenting a wide range of data reports for internal and external use.
- Key responsibilities will include developing a dashboard system of presenting detailed data and data analysis to senior operational and claims management across the group.
- Interpreting data effectively as the starting point for process improvement.
- Continuous process improvement and identifying and instigating process improvement projects within both individual business units/divisions and across the wider group.
- You will be a key member of the team developing the group Claims Operations Manual, improving the client claims journey and delivering a range of Claims and Operational workshops across the group.
- The role is a key function of improving Claims efficiency and implementing the companies claims policy targets.
- The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of Claims Operations projects across the UK.
- The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and be adept at forming successful external and internal relationships at all levels.
What are they looking for?
- Successful candidates will have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance claims process and procedures and experience of data analysis and process improvement projects. Ideally you will have experience of Continuous Improvement projects.
- You will have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: computer science, statistics, analytics, data management, information systems, information science.
- They would value exposure to any or all of the following: process and value stream mapping, data analytics and interpretation, data modelling, including data integrity and integration
- They are interested in talking to candidates with experience in the following: Acturis and SAS coupled with either Tableau, PowerBI or QlickView and will be advanced in MS Excel.
- Basic SQL will also aid you being a success in this role followed by a knowledge of all other MS Suite packages (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.).
- You will have experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative.
- You will be ambitious, tenacious and possess exceptional negotiation and communication skills. A problem solver, you will also possess analytical skills.
- You will have strong personal organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage a range of projects simultaneously.
