Commercial New Business Account Handler

Salary: Up to £42,000 + up to 10% annual bonus
Contract: 12-month FTC, with a view to become permanent
Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon - Hybrid (typically 2 days per week in the office, occasionally 1)
Experience: Minimum 2 years' UK commercial insurance broking experience

We're recruiting for a Commercial New Business Account Handler to join the new business team of a leading UK broker.

This is a fast-paced, service-led role handling inbound new business enquiries referred through an established network. There's no cold calling and no individual sales target.

The role

• Handle new commercial insurance enquiries from initial submission through to placement
• Work across a broad mix of risks including Property, Casualty, Motor Trade, Farming and Commercial Combined
• Obtain and negotiate terms with insurers
• Support the wider sales function with inbound enquiries
• Work closely with internal teams and insurers
• Deliver a quick, accurate and high-quality service
  
  

What we're looking for

You'll need at least 2 years' commercial insurance broking experience. This could be within new business, renewals or a general Account Handler position.
