SCHEME ACCOUNT MANAGER – MAIDENHEAD/LONDON

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Insurer within their highly successful & dynamic Schemes Division. An A+ rated Insurer with a history of innovation and delivery of exceptional service to clients.

THE ROLE


  • Lead Account Management for key Schemes to maximise their potential, deliver regional and UK strategies, and achieve mutually successful partnerships for the business and their brokers.  
  • Understand opportunities and challenges in the market through close and consistent broker engagement.  
  • Build market leading Scheme propositions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Deliver  growth targets on existing and new schemes.  Identify new opportunities through broker profiling and prospecting.  Implement existing opportunities to increase market penetration, increase conversion, improve customer experience,  intelligently market the proposition, cross-sell products and access adjacent markets.  
  • Collaborate with broker partners and across Sales, Underwriting and Operations to routinely review scheme performance, identify opportunities to grow, improve the proposition, improve profitability and find efficiencies.
  • Engage Underwriting and Operational stakeholders to prioritise key improvements and manage all parties.   

THE CANDIDATE


  • You'll have Account Management experience working for an insurer 
  • Schemes or delegated authority experience would be beneficial 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus 
  • Be able to adapt your style to suit many levels of engagement from a junior account handler to a Managing Director 
  • Strong negotiating skills and abilities to empathise and influence 
  • Be structured and organised to manage portfolio priorities 

THE PACKAGE


  • Salary circa £75,000.
  • Attractive pension contribution at 10%.
  • Substantial bonus potential up to 30%.
  • Hybrid operating model.
