Role - Corporate Account Handler
Salary - Up to £45,000
Location - Leeds
We are seeking a Corporate Account Handler to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and broking, with specialised knowledge in General Commercial, Motor Fleet, and Haulage as well as Property lines of business. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our clients' insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate insurance accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
- Analyse client's insurance requirements and recommend suitable coverage options
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers to ensure the best possible coverage and premiums
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide proactive solutions to clients
- Process policy documentation, endorsements, and other client-related paperwork with accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Prior experience in account handling or broking within the insurance industry is essential
- Strong understanding of General Commercial, Motor Fleet, and Haulage, as well as Property lines of business
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a client-focused approach
Day-to-Day
- Communicating with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Liaising with underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
- Conducting market research to stay abreast of industry developments
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
- Managing the administrative aspects of client accounts with attention to detail and accuracy
