Role Essentials:

- Underwrite professional indemnity cases under delegated authority
- Advise clients on requirements at new business and renewal stages
- Liaise with insurers and capacity providers on product appetites and wordings
- Collaborate with colleagues on all aspects of binders in order to write business
- Manage a mix of new business and renewals, handling cases up to c£50,000 GWP
- Exercise technical insurance and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to the business with independent thought and action

Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience in professional indemnity or liability underwriting
- Capacity to work effectively to deadlines, prioritising service and efficiency
- Adept at learning and applying new knowledge, with training support provided
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a professional team
