We are working on a very exciting role with a Market Leading and Award Winning Management Liability Insurance provider.
After a number of years of successful growth our client are looking for an MLP Underwriter to join their dynamic Underwriting Team.
As an MLP Underwriter you will:
- Work with key broking partners to identify, develop and convert new business opportunity within the MLP space.
- Proactively build strong trading relationships with insurance brokers.
- Generate a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities through broker engagement.
- Support presentations, meetings, and tenders to secure new business.
- Ensuring robust underwriting controls are observed and continually improved.
- Supporting the delivery and analysis of product performance metrics.
- This is a remote role but there may be a need to travel to your local office once a month/quarter.
As an MLP Underwriter you will have:
- Strong trading and commercial awareness, with effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining broker relationships.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in account monitoring and pricing.
- Good understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Sound risk assessment and risk management capabilities.
- CII Qualification preferred.
As an MLP Underwriter you will get:
- Salary circa £60,000 based on experience
