Description

We're proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, independent insurance broker that's earning a reputation for doing things differently - putting clients and people at the heart of everything they do.

As their client base continues to expand, they're looking for an ambitious Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team. If you're passionate about delivering excellent service and want to be part of a broker with big plans and a clear sense of purpose, this could be the role for you.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with Account Executives and directly with clients to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance policies, ensuring smooth renewals, efficient service, and strong relationships.  The role can be full time or part time.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day policy servicing
  • Supporting Account Executives with new business activity
  • Preparing and issuing policy documents and renewal terms
  • Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and provide tailored cover
  • Providing clients with prompt, professional advice across a range of commercial risks

About You:

  • As an existing Commercial Account Handler, with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a commercial insurance role
  • Strong working knowledge of products such as property, liability, fleet, and combined covers
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident building relationships with clients and insurers alike
  • Experience using Acturis is a bonus but not essential
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards (preferred but not required)

Why Join?

  • Competitive salary: £30,000 - £38,000
  • An office based role with a supportive, team-first culture with a modern and ambitious outlook
  • Genuine career progression as the business continues to grow
  • Full support for professional development and qualifications
  • A chance to help shape the future of an exciting independent broker
