One of the largest and most successful MGA businesses in the UK controlling over £115m GWP are looking to appoint a Senior New Business Underwriter to focus on delivering an exceptional service to their customers in the North Region.

The opportunities will be focussed around the Property & Casualty lines of business in the Mid Market space utilising the significant underwriting empowerment in place. 

AS A SENIOR NEW BUSINESS UNDERWRITER YOU WILL:

• Work with strategic partner brokers on a range of new business presentations across a wide variety of trades.
• Lead the New Business underwriting activity for the business across the North Region.
• Work in partnership with the wider Underwriting Team to deliver quick and efficient underwriting solutions to new business opportunities.
• Lead referrals into the capacity provider with innovative solutions to gain buy in to provide terms of risks which perhaps sit outside of general appetite.
• Work closely with the Distribution team to support the business in messaging clearly to the market around appetite and product suite.
• Work within extensive authority levels and maintain underwriting discipline to protect the company's profitable position

AS A SENIOR NEW BUSINESS UNDERWRITER YOU WILL HAVE:

• An experienced Senior Underwriter with a strong track record of new business delivery in Property & Casualty lines of business.
• Excellent relationship buildings skills and a friendly and approachable manner
• An ability to prioritise and deliver market leading terms within deadlines which can sometimes be demanding.

AS A SENIOR NEW BUSINESS UNDERWRITER TO YOU WILL GET:
