As a Trading Underwriter you will:

• Underwrite and review new business quotations across a commercial lines portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong trading relationships with brokers across the London & South East region.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to drive growth and deliver outstanding service.
• Act as a referral point and mentor for junior team members.
• Deliver high-quality underwriting decisions within SLAs, ensuring compliance and customer focus.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance processes and customer experience.

As a Trading Underwriter you will:

• Have at least 2 years' commercial underwriting experience (property/casualty preferred).
• Be a confident communicator who enjoys influencing, negotiating, and building relationships.
• Be organised, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
• Have a "can-do" attitude and be agenuine team player.
