The Role

• A Commercial Underwriter, with experience in both Property and Casaulty, to continue the growth of a specialist book of business
• Underwriting accounts ranging from SME through to £50k GWP
• Working with the Senior underwriting team to ensure the renewals and new business opportunities are given the chance to win and retain
• The role be based in the Birmingham office, with hybrid working available
• A salary up to circa £50k for the right candidate, and depending on experience.

The Business

• A significant presence in the UK market, with combination of general Commercial and Corporate business, and are well known for a number of specialist commercial products and propositions.
• They have a longstanding MGA with an A-Rated insurer, which they are looking to grow

• Hybrid working arrangements, with 3 days in the office

You

• A Commercial Underwriter with a minimum 5 years experience in general P&C or Combined products
• Experience of working for a major insurer or an MGA
• Individual case underwriting, with good authority, or maybe an individual with experience of underwriting scheme portfolios
