You will be joining a specialist team working closely with the insurance market, handling a varied caseload of EL/PL personal injury claims. The work requires judgement, a calm approach and a proper grasp of liability, evidence and risk. This is not a role for someone who wants to hide in a process. As a Personal Injury Executive, you will handle claims from instruction through to settlement, working with clients, insurers and third parties in a measured and commercially sensible way. You will be part of a business that understands the realities of the insurance sector and values people who can balance technical handling with practical decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing a caseload of employer's liability and public liability claims
• Reviewing liability, medical evidence and quantum with a clear insurance mindset
• Progressing files from initial instruction through to settlement
• Liaising with clients, insurers, witnesses and other third parties
• Drafting correspondence and preparing files for negotiation or litigation where needed
• Identifying risk issues early and making sensible recommendations on next steps
• Maintaining strong file management and compliance standards throughout

• Background as a fee earner, claims handler or Personal Injury Executive
• Strong understanding of liability and claims progression
• Confidence managing your own caseload with the right level of supervision
