If you have been handling commercial insurance, you will probably know what you want from your next role: a decent book of clients, enough variety to keep the job interesting and a business that gives you the support to do the job properly.

We are recruiting a Commercial Account Handler for an established broker in Stockport, working with clients ranging from SMEs through to larger commercial businesses.

What you'll be doing

This is a broad, cross-class role where you will:

• Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments
• Deal with day-to-day client queries
• Work closely with Account Executives
• Speak directly with insurers on terms and cover
• Handle risks including property, liability, motor fleet and business interruption

What we're looking for

Ideally, you will have:

• Commercial broking experience in the UK market
• Good cross-class commercial insurance knowledge
• Good working knowledge of Acturis is desirable
