We're working with a well-established independent insurance broker in Southend, who are seeking an ambitious Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team.

The Role:
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day queries are handled efficiently. You'll work closely with Account Executives and senior management to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries
- Preparing and issuing policy documentation and renewal reports
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and coverage
- Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and new business activity
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with FCA standards
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers
About You:
- Experience within commercial insurance broking
- Knowledge of SME and mid-market commercial products, including property, liability, and combined covers
- Strong communication, organisational, and client management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
- Cert CII qualified or working towards (support available)
- Acturis or similar broking system experience desirable
