This Development Underwriter role works with a small panel of key supporting brokers on the South Coast, collaborating and partnering to drive mutual growth. You'll be working for a major international insurer driving growth of the mid-market book.

As Development Underwriter, you will:

• Manage and develop a panel of key brokers along the South Coast - Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, Basingstoke, Brighton, etc. - with a remit to increase market share within mid-market property, liability, commercial combined and.
• Focus on new business, identifying and capitalising on opportunities through your knowledge, experience, skills and connections.
• Hold a senior position in the team; this is a newly created role and holds senior underwriting authority and interfaces with management and internal stakeholders.
• Be given the freedom and responsibility to work to your own plan - this is a home based role where you'll be encouraged to spend your time in front of brokers, with the full support of the regional office to lean on.
