Description

Professional Indemnity Account Executive

Chester - Hybrid working

A well-established insurance brokerage, part of a leading national group, is seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Account Executive to join its settled and high-performing team.

The broker is stable, growing, and focused on the future. The Chester-area office is home to a collaborative team, including Account Executives, Administrators, and Compliance support.

The Role

This is a client-facing role focused primarily on Professional Indemnity insurance, with some exposure to Cyber and Management Liability products. The portfolio mainly serves construction and legal sector clients, with clients located across the UK.

  • Manage and develop an existing PI book (circa £200k income for a PI specialist, depending on experience)
  • Predominantly desk/phone-based servicing, with occasional face-to-face client meetings
  • Support clients with a strong emphasis on retention and technical advice
  • New business expectations are realistic, with leads generated internally and no aggressive sales targets

About You

  • Proven experience handling Professional Indemnity risks (not necessarily as a PI specialist)
  • Comfortable advising clients through complex renewals
  • Strong relationship management and technical capability
  • Experience using Acturis is advantageous but not essential

What's on Offer

  • Salary up to £65,000 plus bonus
  • Hybrid working model
  • Established, supportive team environment with full admin and compliance support
  • Opportunity to inherit and grow a quality PI book within a respected brokerage

This role would suit an experienced commercial insurance/PI professional looking for stability, quality clients, and a sensible approach to growth in a changing market.
